BAD COMPANY
I probably should have looked at the reviews before attempting to buy the camera. Firstly, the minicam was ordered via PayPal. After checking the receipt, I found that a delivery charge had been added along with an extended warranty, neither of which had been mentioned before purchase. A dispute was raised via PayPal and the delivery along with the warranty charges were refunded promptly. No problem, I thought, a quick fix is a good thing, the company must be trustworthy and reliable. How wrong I was, after two months waiting for my minicam, I again contacted PayPal, which were less than helpful in this matter, because I was told that a second dispute could not be raised on the same transaction. My argument was, that, I could not have foreseen the non delivery of the item, but, their terms were not negotiable. Having been in contact via innumerable emails to getminipix over the proceedings months, they could not comprehend that, i no longer required a refund, but, just wanted the minicam I’d paid for. Continuing to email getminipix with regards to the now LONG OVERDUE delivery of my minicam, their customer service said that the”ticket “ ( their terms) was now closed and would have to raise another one. What sort of customer service is that! The issue had not been resolved in any shape or form, now after SIX MONTHS is still unresolved and I am still waiting for my item! The only response from these people is a “stock letter “ that must be sent automatically , as it seems that no human could actually be that inept and lacking comprehension , not to be able to bring this issue to a conclusion! I am unable to find a telephone number to speak to someone. THIS COMPANY ( getminipix) HAVE IN ALL INTENTS AND PURPOSES STOLEN MY MONEY AND REFUSE TO SENT THE ITEM I’VE PAID FOR!
Refund is rejected... and then comes anyway!
The camera did not meet my expectations, it was unusable for the intended purpose. Therefore, I returned it a few days after the purchase on April 14th, 2024. Minipix has so far refused to refund the purchase price because I cannot prove delivery. Unfortunately, I had only chosen the basic version for shipment tracking, in which delivery is not documented. Addition from today, May 9th: after another email exchange and sending the above negative review, the purchase price was refunded in full today! Therefore 1 more star.....
CRAP
I Purchased camera 2yrs ago. Its been in a box labeled CRAP for 23 1/2 months. Total B.S. and I have not recommended this camera and will continue to do so. Every time a ad surfaces cross my devices I will almost immediately stop what I'm doing to alert people and write a honest comment. I am in no way affiliated or associated with the company and their customers. Unlike those phony paid happy customers I'm HONEST!
Not recommended
Not recommended, because the app, which is needed for the camera, only works with credit card deposit. I sent the cameras back. After 10 days the package allegedly did not arrive. After I contacted Paypal, the package arrived. Now I'm waiting for the refund. Hands off!!!!!
This is a scam
This is a scam, misleading video advertising, suggesting that the cameras are designed by UK engineers and that they are superior and manufactured in the UK. Couldn't be further from the truth, what you receive is a cheap and nasty Micky Mouse device that doesn't work. I threatened to report to advertising standards etc. At first they offered a half price refund but I stuck to my guns and got a full one. Don't be scammed, this thing is only worth about £3.00 tops. A cheap Chinese import.
I received a wrong delivery
I received a wrong delivery and I was charged too much. Otherwise, I am unfortunately not satisfied with the products and would like you to arrange a return and send me my money back. I received 4 mini cameras and ordered 4 miniCards?? What for? I only ordered 2. Senst Berlin
Worst camera ever, It is money lost
Worst camera ever does not work, needs to be plugged to work and does not stay connected to the internet. very bad customer service, they wont accept returns even if they say the guarantee is 90 days. do not trust them!!!! Do not buy !!!!!
Not Recommended
I honestly can't give a positive rating. The quality of the cameras is very poor, it's "cheap Chinese goods". On the site everything is presented nicely, simply and above all in German. When ordering, a check mark is automatically set for the lifetime warranty (everything very small and hidden), additional costs €5. If you get the cam, you have instructions in English in a Kinder Surprise format. The app that you have to download is also in English and supposedly only compatible with Wifi, but I need access with mobile data. So I sent the cameras back. Also had to email a tracking number. Bear the return costs of €6.99 myself. Two weeks have passed, unfortunately I still haven't received the purchase price refunded. More info to follow…
Poorly trained customer service bot
Placed an order on May 6th. Received a shipping confirmation on May 7th! Was off to a great start. The item got stuck on May 13th. I waited for it to get corrected before reaching out to customer support on May 28th. I provided the support team with my tracking link, and dates, including the math that it had been 22 days since placing my order and 15 since the last shipping scan. I received a near instant reply! The reply was completely unhelpful. It spit my tracking link back to me and said the expected shipping time was 4-12 days. My assumption is that there is a chatbot that replies with a canned message, even if that message contains zero helpful information. Given the inability to get actual help, I feel that my only remaining recourse if to pursue a refund through my credit card's fraud department. I am so disappointed. I had high hopes for this product.
Avoid
Cameras were terrible quality and not at all as advertised. They also added on a charge for an extended warranty that wasn't requested or listed on the site. Avoid. I got my money back after a bit of back and forth with them and Paypal.
